Welcome to our little area, where we are able to give you a little more of an idea of the kind of people who you are potentially considering for your project.
Clare and Martin recently celebrated 25 years of marriage and have 2 children Christopher and Lauren- both having worked for the business and have now moved on to higher education at the University of Kent and the University of Northampton respectively.
Trading since 2014, Sage Blinds & Interiors was formed as a result of parental retirement leading to redundancy from the family business where Clare, for 13 years, manufactured blinds whilst providing care for the company’s trade and retail customers. She was joined by Martin for 5 years, where he developed the business with new products, installations and logistical support.
Shortly after our business was created, we were given the opportunity to set up a showroom within Melbourn Flooring and Interiors- from there our dream was given the solid foundations to build and develop the brand.
Since then, we have seen our business grow by committing to good quality products, dedicated customer service and expert installation. The desire to improve on what we do will always be our motivating factor, we continue to explore, learn and adapt to a world where innovation and technology are reaching further with every day that passes.
The final piece in our jigsaw was filled by Peter, our fitter, who worked with both of us for 2 years within the same family business mentioned. Now in his third year of plying his expertise with our company, Peter has brought a wealth of industry experience of over 30 years. His professionalism, skills and knowledge are much admired by our customers whilst his commitment to his craft and our business is cherished by us.

An excellent job
Sage Blinds and Interiors is a small company, but the service I received was second to none. Within two hours, Martin visited to ascertain the fitting of my curtain tracks, two had to be ceiling mounted and three wall-mounted. Peter, the fitter arrived the next morning and his approach showed his expertise and professionalism and I was more than pleased with his workmanship and the finished job.
